Alongside my clinical work, I have experience delivering training and supporting the development of psychological practice across NHS services.
I have designed and delivered training on topics including:
• Psychological safety – creating team cultures that promote openness, learning, and compassionate communication
• Conducting comprehensive CBT assessments – supporting clinicians to develop thorough, collaborative assessments that inform effective treatment planning
• Assessing and managing self-harm in talking therapies – enhancing clinicians' confidence in risk assessment, formulation, and evidence-based management within psychological services
I have also completed the 21st Century Leadership Programme with Central and North West London NHS Foundation Trust, a trust-wide leadership and management programme centred on compassionate leadership, values-based practice, and modelling behaviours that foster psychologically safe, high-performing teams.
I am passionate about supporting clinicians and services through training and the development of psychologically informed, compassionate ways of working.
